(un)lucky thirteen

January 22, 2009

I’m not a superstitious guy but this particular thirteen has me thinking and a little bit shocked.   Why?    Well, today marks my thirteenth year of working for my employer.   Seriously?!  Thirteen years?   Holy cow.  College didn’t even last that long.   How does time go that fast?

How am I celebrating?   Breakfast with friends followed by a nice commute to work on my Fargo.   I’ve only got 3 hours of meetings too.   I might try to document this occasion in some way, so check back later as I just might upload a photo by the end of the day.  Who knows?  I might not either.

Thirteen years…..I think I need a bike ride.

Late morning edit:  I got my answer.  As I went up over a 2 foot high snow banked curb this morning, my front wheel planted and I did a nice endo.   Snow = 1.  Gnat = 0.

You should find a copy of the Pixies No. 13 baby and blast that at 12 in the office today while you do the pogo and throw all your papers on your desk high in the air.

    Then again, maybe not!

Congrats on the milestone, Gnat. I’ll be celebrating one tomorrow, but the number I’m celebrating is just a wee bit higher than yours! 🙂

I got me 16 in at my place. Can’t say I’ve enjoyed 1 of them really. That’s gonna change soon! 🙂

Man, look at that hair! Baggies and hairy legs.. That’s the GNAT style baby! LOL!

Wow… 13 years. Incredible. Sorry to see you took a digger, but at least you were gettin’ the saddle time! Good form, my brother!
